Wow, Google jumping in to a new business ?? Well, not exactly. It already have almost all technology needed to develop a new Gaming console. Yes, it have an operating system, game developers (Google +), Software coders and above all, a large group of developers who provide their games for android phone and tablets through play store.
When we look in to the past, smartphones were costly until Google opened its Android to the world. The same way, we can expect a costlier gaming market may get cheaper with the entrance of Google. Many gaming Consoles like Xbox provide premium games, which are very costly and are beyond the reach of middle class family in many developing and under developed countries.
When Google steps in to this business we can expect a lot of change in the present gaming market. Games will be allowed to be downloaded from its play store, which everyone suppose.
The question still remains, whether Google will manufacture its own hardware or tender it to companies like Samsung, Song, LG., etc.
Future of Gaming Console
This also marks the future of Gaming console, which may come in to the hands of Google. Reports say that this is a competition for Apple TV, which is said to have a Gaming Console. Already Google is trying to integrate its android operating system in various appliances like Air Conditioner and Fridge, this has come as a great news for android lover.
